Incredibly well preserved child’s tea set by Salem China Company in Salem, Ohio (1898-1999). This nearly complete set features 14 pieces of gorgeous china with the Mary Had a Little Lamb (SLM193) pattern. Included are 1 handled cake plate, two handled sugar bowl, creamer, 4 dishes, 3 flat demitasse cups and 4 saucers. The set is missing 1 of the demitasse cups which I have requested from the Replacements Company and will add IF they are able to locate this very rare and hard to find item. Research indicates that no teapot was included with this set.
This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
This is a stunning set that has been extremely well cared for and maintained for almost 100 years! Similar, newer sets are selling for much more.
