It’s made to be a statement: a lantern so modern and fabulous it needs no candle. There is no holder for one…now that’s one cool lantern. But, if you want to sneak a tea light in the base, it’s your lantern and your statement matters most.
This MCM Glass Lantern is made for well known vintage MCM Scandinavian manufacturer Dansk, designed by Sweden born MCM interior designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson whose design work is known the world over. Google to see more. By the way, the Dansk sticker is still proudly displayed on this lantern. I hope this 9 inch tall by 6 inch wide lantern finds just the right spot in your home.
Note: Do not remove the sticker on this lantern or any vintage pottery you buy. It is considered “faux pas” (a no-no) and lessens its value.
